Hi, James from Abacus Window Cleaning on Australia’s amazing Gold Coast. I have been a window cleaner here on the Gold Coast since 2003 when I moved here from Sydney for a better way of life, work, family and balance.
I got inspired from my holiday visiting the Gold Coast where I stayed at Kirra Beach for a week, the year starting January of 2003, I fell in love instantly with the coast and looked at all the glass and building and thought to myself that this place has to be a great place to make my future home. I handed my notice in a my place of work, the “Quay Grand Sydney Suits” (a mervac property) which over looked the amazing Sydney Harbour Bridge. I had met another Window Cleaning family who used to come in to the Hotel to complete the hotel’s Window Cleaning. The team had asked if I was interested in joining their family and becoming a Window Cleaning guy too, this is where I got the thought from to make my departure from Manly’s Northern Beaches where I was living in Sydney to make my journey home to the Gold Coast where I would soon become a Window Cleaning business which is called Abacus Window Cleaning.
Since I have been working here on the Gold Coast my life has been fantastic and not without its challenges. I like most people have been on a journey but I have to say really in this life I have been very blessed and I’m grateful.
